If you haven’t read my first post on trying out Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) click here
The Simple User Interface of Microsoft Security Essentials |
Now to my verdict about this security software. MSE has a simple and easy to use interface to
work with whatever it is that you plan to do with MSE. Like any antivirus you
get updates for virus definitions (virus definitions enable your antivirus
software to identify and deal with virus threats), virus scans, file monitoring.
It can automatically scan downloads for you. It does a lot of what you should
expect from any antivirus software.
For me personally the one thing that I like is its use of
system resources. It conducts its work without slowing down your system. I
personally think it’s good.
I will run some further test on it later on. I like it and I
have switched fully to MSE but if I ever have a problem with it I won’t
hesitate to let you know what I have found.
